Embracing Chaos, Parallel Universe Theory and The Friend Rocket Ship

Welcome to Digital Digest, a new weekly newsletter where I share my learnings from the week. This will be short and raw, unlike my more polished in-depth letters. I hope you enjoy.

Embracing Chaos

I would describe myself as a world-class dabbler. I become fixated on something for a time, conversations, media, and life revolve around it. Until one day, my attention plummets and intrigue is found somewhere else.

As someone who has a big vision. I’ve always taken on the advice many successful people spout about consistency, discipline, and sticking to one thing. Which has often caused a lot of internal conflict as I try to force myself into boundaries that do not suit me. The result, as you can imagine, is that I don’t stick to the “rules” and instead have damaged my relationship with myself in the process.

Recently, I have released my fixation on doing it the conventional way and placed trust in myself. Instead of seeing my ever-changing nature as a problem. I now find it a source of entertainment. I lean into it instead of forcing my nature to bend to my will, which has not gone well in the past. The results? So far it’s been successful, I’m more relaxed, more curious and actually getting more of what matters done.

P.S. My latest Newsletter dives deeper into the topic of Being vs Becoming;

Parallel Universe Theory

I’m currently reading Parallel Universes of Self by Frederick E.Dodson. The concept is as follows:

There are infinite versions of you, all existing simultaneously. At any moment, you are choosing the reality you experience and with it the thoughts, feelings, behaviours and desires. To shift into a desired reality, you need to embody it here and now. What you believed to be the destination is actually the starting point.

Embody the version of you who has what you want. Relax into the moment, Cherish what you have.

The Friend Rocket Ship

I recently made 2 friends. Both are on their respective journeys to create a life of love, play and purpose. Each time we meet, I’m blown away by the level of insight, energy and passion for life. I come away from the interactions better than I started, and that is powerful.

I noticed some Healthy competition on my end. Seeing other people thriving, consistent and driven ignites the best parts of me. It’s great accountability. A reflection of where I’m not living with integrity, being mirrored in my friends.

Community is a powerful force.

ProjectLifeco:

One of my missions is to create a community centred around Humans being Human. Authentic, expressive and connected. My last learning only cemented how important connection is, and so I’m happy to present Project Life Co. A digital space for community. This is the beta version of what will become part of an entire ecosystem of personal and communal growth. This is only the beginning. I hope to see you there:

Thank you for your attention,

Morgan
